While attending a special event to mark the planned Grand Opening
(6/13/05) of the new Cussler Museum attended by Clive Cussler,
his family and friends, I had a chance to visit with the owner
of these fine, magnificent examples of automotive history.
Clive said he remembered the first time he ever saw such a classic
car. He said he was about six years old and saw a chauffer driven
car, such as the one shown here, drive past his home. He ran inside
to tell his mom, and by the time she got outside it was gone...
but not forgotten. The seed of love for such a classic car was
planted.
