while many had never heard of this website, they were
happy to raise their books!

When Clive arrived, he spoke for a few minutes. He looked
fit and well rested, and he'd need to be, as there were
a ton of books to sign. Tattered Cover had many "pre-orders",
and most in the crowd had also brought along an additional
book for signing. (Tattered Cover had initiated a policy
that Clive would only sign one additional book for collectors,
in addition to the one that they were purchasing)
